What Is AdvCash?

AdvCash holds its headquarters in Belize with the following official address: Suite 102, Ground Floor , Blake Building, Corner Eyre&Hutsons Streets, Belize. It operates its financial business through these licenses: International Money Transmission Business # IFSC/60/237MT/17 and International Payment Processing Services # IFSC/60/237PPS/17.

AdvCash License

AdvCash claims to offer a financial service that is faster than conventional money transfers and cheaper than using bank accounts. It also claims to have an easier-to-use system as compared to e-currency systems. It is being advertised as a great payment solution for online freelancers and webmasters, as well as for online businesses (particularly in managing affiliate and payroll solutions).

Signing Up for AdvCash Account, Logging In and verification

The AdvCash account registration process shouldn’t take a long time. The registration form only asks for your first name, last name, email address, and password. Once you have completed and submitted the form, you can proceed to logging in. There is no more need for an email verification. The process can be completed within 15 seconds.

There may be instances when you fail to log in even after entering the correct password. Don’t hastily have your password changed since it appears it’s quite common for something like this to happen. Just try logging in again using the same login details and you should be able to sign into your account.

We like how AdvCash is designed to intelligently assess account access to ensure security. If you log into your account using a computer different from the one you used to register for an account, the system will require you to enter a PIN, which will be sent to you through the email address you used for registration. Similarly, if you access your account again using another computer, you will be asked to enter a PIN.

AdvCash Account Dashboard, User Interface

Upon logging in, you will be presented with links to three main sections of your account (through a modal window): the security settings, wallet, and the deposit interface. Well, you can just ignore this modal window and proceed to the actual account interface. Everything you likely want to find can be easily accessed with one or a few clicks through the account interface.

AdvCash account interface

The security settings, your account inbox, the referral program page, and you profile page can be accessed through links on the top part of the site. The link for the profile page is your account name.

In the Profile page, you can change or add more personal information, change your password, chose your payment templates, check for notifications, and do your verification. There’s also a big red button for deleting your account under the profile page so be careful with the clicks you make.

If you go to the Security Settings page, you will find an option for Intelligent Identification. This is responsible for the detection of various parameters to help secure your account by preventing unauthorized access and alerting you, in a way, if somebody tried to access your account without your permission. The Security Settings page also allows you to bind your account to a specific address, which means you can’t log in to your account unless you use the device that has the IP address you specified. Additionally, you can enable SMS authorization, which lets you get an SMS every time you log into your account. You can also set a payment password, activate a code card requirement, and enable your account’s one-time password generator for transaction authorization.

Other important features of the account interface worth pointing out are the Add Wallet and Create Card links to the left. Obviously, you click on them if you want more than just the default wallet for your account and if you want to get a debit card. These are conveniently located on the left side of the interface so you can quickly proceed to getting a new wallet or your debit card when you are ready.

The AdvCash interface times out after 15 minutes of being idle (although we had a feeling it’s a bit shorter than that). If you left your account unattended for 15 minutes, expect to be asked to log in again as you will have been automatically logged out to protect your account.

Currencies Supported and Countries Served

In its FAQ section, AdvCash says it only supports two currencies: US dollar (USD) and euro (EUR). Also, as stated in the site’s FAQ section, there are no immediate plans to support more currencies. However, if you click on the Add Wallet button, you will find that you can also create wallets for Russian ruble (RUB), British pound (GBP), Ukrainian hryvnia (UAH), and Kazakhstani tenge (KZT).

The countries served by AdvCash is indicated in the dropdown list of countries you will find in the profile page. If you can’t find your country in the list, it means you are not allowed to sign up for an account. AdvCash Services/Functions

AdvCash is not just a bitcoin debit card. It also serves as an e-wallet that supports multiple currencies.

  • The e-wallet service comes with an easy-to-use web-based interface and can be used to make online payments and transfer funds between wallets.
  • The debit card service is available in plastic card and virtual card variants. It features instant card funding and can be used for making secure online shopping payments as well as payments for POS transactions. It also enables the withdrawal of funds anywhere.
  • Lastly, there’s the currency exchange service of AdvCash. It can serve as a currency exchange platform that offers great exchange rates and charges minimal commissions.

Mobile Apps

Unfortunately, AdvCash doesnot have mobile apps yet.  There are iTunes and Google Play store logos on its website but they don’t provide links to the respective iTunes or Google Play Store pages for the apps. Also, the AdvCash website is not mobile-friendly. Google’s Mobile Website Speed Testing Tool rates the site’s mobile friendliness at 69/100 but we don’t think it’s adequately usable with mobile devices. The texts and links are too small that navigating the site can be difficult.

Like any proper financial service provider, AdvCash secures account details through SSL encryption (HTTPS). Also, AdvCash has a geo-distributed data backup system to make sure that all vital information are protected. When it comes to account security, AdvCash also provides a number of ways to help account holders in ensuring their protection—through the aptly named Security Settings page. As mentioned earlier, AdvCash accounts can take advantage of the so-called Intelligent Identification system (enabled by default), which detects if you log into your account using a different device and require a security PIN for such a log in. There’s also the ability to tie your account to a specific IP address and to get SMS authorization for logins.

AdvCash Policy on Anonymity

AdvCash allows verified and unverified use of its bitcoin debit card. As such, it can be said that AdvCash supports anonymity. You will have lower limits as compared to having a verified account but if you are thinking of something that allows you to use a bitcoin debit card (or use your supposedly anonymous bitcoins through your debit card) anonymously, Advcash is something you may want to consider. If the limits of an unverified account are good enough for your needs, you can maintain some degree of anonymity as you use your AdvCash debit card.

Take note that this is not full anonymity. As stated in the FAQ section of the AdvCash website, users may still be required to verify their identity in certain cases and after certain transactions, in accordance to the security and fraud prevention practices of the company.

Fees and Charges

The AdvCash website already has a commendably well-presented comprehensive summary of its fees so we will no longer be presenting a summary of the fees here. Screenshots of the AdvCash fee summaries are presented below. These fees are competitive and may even be better that most other bitcoin debit cards in some aspects. Topping up an account through SWIFT/SEPA bank transfer, for example, is for free. It’s also worth noting that AdvCash does not charge monthly or annual fees.

AdvCash Limits

For the limits, naturally there are different sets of limits set for unverified and verified accounts. For unverified accounts, AdvCash imposes a daily limit for loading funds of 3,000 USD/EUR for the e-wallet and plastic card. For ATM withdrawals, the limit is also 3,000 USD/EUR. On the other hand, for the payment of purchases, users are only allowed a maximum of 10,000 USD/EUR per day.

On the other hand, for verified accounts, card owners can make deposits of up to 250,000 USD per month or per day. Each deposit transaction, though, is only allowed a maximum amount of 99,999 USD. Withdrawals of up to 100,000 USD can be made per day with a 10,000 USD maximum per transaction. Transfers to other AdvCash users are limited to 999,000 USD per month or per day, with a limit of 99,999 USD per transaction.

How to Add Funds and Make Fund Transfers and Paypal

To add funds, you have to go to the Deposit Funds page and select the funding option you want to use. The options are as follows: Visa and MasterCard credit card, wire transfer through SWIFT/WIRE and SEPA, and electronic payment systems. These e-payment systems include Payeer, BTC-E, OkPay, Perfect Money, Qiwi, eCoin, Epese, Paxum, Payza, and Exmo.

On the other hand, it’s worth noting that AdvCash can actually be linked to PayPal accounts to make payments. The PayPal verification code is found on the details of the corresponding PayPal transaction.

Card funding is usually completed in an instant unless there are issues related to account limits, server maintenance, and factors beyond AdvCash’s control. If your deposits or card funding takes longer than expected (more than 24 hours), be sure to contact the support team.

When it comes to fund transfers, the process is similar to how deposits are made. You just have to go to the Funds Transfer page and choose the option you want. You can transfer funds to another AdvCash wallet, to another AdvCash debit card, to a Visa or MasterCard bank card, to an e-currency or e-payment system, to cash, or to exchanges. Transfers are usually completed in an instant and there are no commissions deducted.

Customer Support

If you have questions or other concerns, you can reach the AdvCash support team through telephone or email. The phone number to call is +501 223 73 32, which is open from 11:00 to 20:00 GMT. If you want to send an email, use this address: [email protected] You may also go to the AdvCash contacts page to use the feedback form.

As indicated, AdvCash does not provide 24/7 customer support. If you have an inquiry, complaint, or other issues you want addressed but you don’t get a response through telephone support, just send an email or use the form on the Contacts page.

AdvCash is great option for a bitcoin debit card. Like many other similar financial services, it is not limited to being just a debit card. It can also serve as a multi-currency wallet and a currency exchange platform, to some extent, with attractive exchange rates. It enables the transfer of funds to Visa and MasterCard cards in 200 countries in different parts of the world. AdvCash offers a good deal of advantages. For one, fund transfers are charge-free. It also promises fast transactions and there’s 24/7 customer support to quickly address concerns. The different features for protecting  accounts are also commendable.  AdvCash is definitely a good option to consider if you are looking for a bitcoin debit card.

  1. You will need to update your country list. This is what i got from advcash support. November 23rd, 2017

“We regret to inform you that starting today due to recent Mastercard policy changes Wave Crest Holdings, our card provider, is unable to offer plastic and virtual cards to users in countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA).

At the moment, we do not issue new Advanced Cash cards to countries outside the EEA/SEPA zone.

Existing cards issued to non-EEA countries will remain active for 90 more days, after which they will be blocked.”
